Audiences first enter an exhibition tracing key moments in Hong Kong\u2019s history from <strong>1842 to 2020<\/strong>\u2014from the colonial era and post-war development to the 1997 Handover, the 2019 protests, and major waves of migration to Canada. The exhibition explores how Hong Kong has evolved from a city shaped by migration into an important source of cultural memory for communities around the world.<\/p><p>Following the exhibition, audiences will experience the documentary Memory \u00d7 Resonance, centred on <strong>three generations of the director\u2019s family:<\/strong> a grandfather who fled China for Hong Kong in the 1960s, parents who built their lives there, and a filmmaker who left Hong Kong after 2019 carrying years of recorded images with him.
